Frankincense

Frankincense is a resin derived from the Boswellia tree's trunk and has the consistency of solidified gum. Its oil is applied topically and used in aromatherapy. Some species of bacteria and fungi appear to be killed by frankincense oil (yeasts). It is commonly used in soaps, lotions, and perfumes.
